Red Ferne Abyssinians

3/29/11 Screamy sister of Needy was picked up yesterday by her new Mom who flew in from MA to pick her up I was so happy to hear she did not sceam her way all the way home this little girl was sooo vocal meowed in a BIG way. As of today 3/30 she is doing great slept with her new Mom last night and is playing with her favorite toy a little squirel she just would drag that toy everywhere here.

Well Ch Red Ferne Moses made one final and did win the Best aby in Ch by default DH asked several judges what was his downside since we have not been making finals and the judges said he is a very nice boy so maybe just competition is that tough kinda discouraging in the try to GC journey not sure how many more shows he will attend

Wow she is doing so super in her home and her new owners Martha and Larry are just spoiling her rotten I am so happy she is doing so well:D

Ch Red Ferne Moses was BOB 4x out of 5 rings he had to miss his last ring due to us having to leave the show. Red Ferne Ellie was the only aby kitten present but was a joy to show since she played with the judges and was not scared.

Mantis now called Matty was picked up and by her new owners and is adjusting well in her new home.

Bluebell came home from TN on 2/17/11

My little blue boy went to his new home yesterday with Sukie who also owns my red boy who she named Rowan this boy is named Koigu I checked in with her today and they have been playing paws under the door of the room where the blue boy is staying as he adjust to his new surroundings.

Walt took the fawn boy to Sandra Bell in TN today who is going to be showing him in CFA and brought Ch Red Ferne Bluebell back home she has been in TN with Sandra since Oct making the show circuit with Sandra we are glad to see her back. She has named the fawn kitten Red Ferne Sundance of Ashaby

Ladybug the little rescue girl from the woods is with a co-worker of mine hope it works out if now then she will be returned and we will continue to search for that just right home but she is going to a home with a singel Mom and 2 older boys so she is going to be the only cat and gets LOTS of attentions so hoping she works out:D

Well Ch Red Ferne Mantis has been spayed been almost a week now since she and Judah went to the vet she for her spay and Do Lou for lots of bloodwork and his heart check, she will be going to her new home in Ohio on 2/19 we meet her new owners Martha and Larry Kruckeberg at the dayton, oh show. We are going to be showing Moses, and it will be little Ellies first show. Shewhokneadstheair is not old enough yet and I was so happy when she was pk neg since Mom is a carrier. 

well its been a while since I posted we have had 2 litters born in fall of 2010 MantisxVoodoo had 4 kittens and Mantis had no milk and I had to raise the ktitens this was the first time in my breeding career that I had ever had to raise a litter it consisted of 3 boys and 1 girl the boys have already gone to their new homes and we are keeping the girl to replace Mantis who is being spayed on the 25th. VoodooxTigress also had 4 kittens 2 boys and 2 girls they are almost 12 weeks old now and we are waiting on Sandra Bell to bring Ch Red Ferne Bluebell back (she has been showing her) and she will get to pick a kitten to campaign for this show season. Voodoo has been bred to 2 more girls if they are both preggers then he will be neutered finally. 

well my 3 latest adoptions 2 adults and 1 kitten all are doing really great in their new homes.

I am told that Skittles follows her everywhere from room to room and they have become the best of friends. Sky is doing really great in Houston, Tx I have pics of her on my album page she is doing really well and loves fish I am told. Stella aka who was Sissy here sister to Sully and Sunspot is doing well in St Louis already fitting in with the boys and it did not take her near as long as I thought it would to settle in with those big boys.:D I also have a Stella album on my pic page with pics of her in her new home.

Well he has gone alone before but cat showing was always a couple thing and this is the first cat show since Do Lou aka Judah being diagnosed with diabetes on Nov 2 and of course my boy is still not regulated and its so sad and stressful he is still eating and playing but peeing and drinking WAY too much he goes back to my vet/work for a BG on monday again. I know he will travel with us when we go to Gatlinburg but I do not want to expose him to cat show germs. So here I am at home while Walt set off for snowy St Louis with Mantis for her first possible GC points and Sugar Babys first kitten show hope they do well and Walt has no trouble with the weather
